Free Pizza Wednesday Nights

(Winter League)
Ottawa Foosball Association will be giving away FREE pizza to anyone who plays in the winter league.

The league is FREE for all beginner players. Am I a beginner? If you have to ask, then yes you are.

Here is how the league works:

- Teams are made up of two player
- The league is divided into two divisions - pros and beginners.
- Each Wednesday night we play a double elimination tournament. Teams earn two points for a win on the winners side and one point a win on the losers side
- The top two players in each division before Christmas will get Jerseys as winners of the league. After Christmas the points reset and we do this again until the end of March.
- Points are earned individually, so if your partner can't make it out you can play with someone else and still get your points!
-NOTE: The foosball tables cost a $1/game. For the league you'll need about $3-5 in loonies.
- No need to sign up, just show up, play foos and eat pizza!

General League Info

The OFA offers two leagues a year, Winter League and Summer League. Typically the winter league is more serious with larger prizes (trips to Las Vegas) while the summer league is more for fun and prestige.

We try different formats with team size and different types of games, my favourite - Tag Team Singles. The league are geared to support new players as their skills develop while also making them fun and competitive for experienced players.
